So, firstly keep the standard of a local bar/pub, it's located in a resort but don't think it's supposed to be some high end spot. But, with that in mind, it's pretty good! The food wasn't anything inventive, just typical bar food, and that's what I was looking for! Prime rib was good, I ordered medium rare, just had to let it rest for a bit. Far wasn't rendered off but it was still good! Fries and onion rings were decent as well, so was the soup. Best thing is that it does have a full bar, so you can keep that in mind! As someone from chicago, the Spotted Cow on tap was great! Of course, nothing to rave about but definitely a good establishment! Service was great and attentive and we got a table near the window so the views were relaxing. 4/5 because it wasn't mind blowing but definitely a decent establishment to visit! Thanks for the hospitality!
This is a very solid place to eat. It's located on a resort, and is much closer than anything in town. We had a variety of food when we went. From a burger,fries, onion rings to salmon it was all good. It was a fairly large restaurant, for being on a resort. The staff was friendly. They had a pretty decent size bar as well. All located near the ski hill, which provided nice scenery. The prices were average, not too high. I thought they presented the food well, and it all tasted pretty good. The fries were delicious, along with lost of the food. I thought the burger wasn't bad, yet wasn't great. The waitress was friendly, and our food came out quick enough. The dessert was delicious! It was pretty kid friendly as well. Usually I would travel the 10/15 in town to eat. However, on days that you don't feel like driving far, this is a very decent spot to frequent.
Food was great. Buffet was small but the food was fresh and it was affordably prices. I'm not sure I have more to add but it was nice for a late night dinner stop AND they let me take my martini to go!
Great place whenever we stay at Christmas mountain! Cold beer and pizza are the favorites for us!
